From the Top Of The Hill

My butt's planted back in Lincoln. The livin' is easy and friends are aplenty. Life is good.

Here's a helpful hint, if you're driving a big truck into Jackson, DO NOT take the Teton pass. 10% grade for 5 miles. We had to pull over to let the brakes cool. About as close as I ever want to get to even thinking about having to use one of those emergency truck ramps. Clarke is trying to hear a rock hit the bottom of the ravine. We never heard it hit.

I kept trying to get Sox to use one in the Element on our way back from Leadville, but alas he is still a pussy.

Good thing you didn't. We got a lift down the pass with a road worker (they were repaving the pass) and he said it cost $2700 to get one of their vehicles towed out of the ramp.
