The new hairstyle was born from two desires: 1) cheap, 2)manageable.
Even a barber out here costs at least $15, and I need to cut corners wherever I can save a dime.
AND, I'm getting tired of dealing with my hair, and this is directly related to the above. My hair is to thick and wild to grow out long--let's just say I would've fit in the 70's just fine. And I can get a decent looking short hairstyle, but it requires a new haircut every 2 weeks to keep it up--and I'm not the rich or vain. So, I now buzz my head with my own clippers. Yeah for fuzzy scalps. The only downside is my gray hairs show up more now.
